01. Artistic Projects & Research

Exhibitions, Visual Research & Speculative Design

2026

Solo Exhibition

● What We Call Real: Perception, Environment, and the Construction of Reality.

Solo exhibition, Fotografiens Hus, Oslo. An artistic investigation into how human perception, nature, and artificial intelligence shape our understanding of reality. Combining photography and AI-generated imagery, the exhibition challenges conventional notions of authenticity, authorship, and the boundaries between documentation and construction.

2025 - Present

Ongoing Artistic Research

● The Synthetic Self

Ongoing photographic and generative image series using the artist’s own image as a recurrent intimate reference. Familiar facial and bodily features are repeatedly reconstructed to investigate recognition, perceptual error and the instability of digital identity.

2025

Visual Research Series

● Unfixed Being

Visual series placing a recurrent self-derived figure within changing environments. Continuity of the figure makes shifts in body, material and context perceptible while identity remains unresolved.

2025

Critical Design Project

● EXO.R3D_Σ: Towards a Hybrid Creative Methodology

A speculative exploration of human–machine collaboration, reimagining the fashion runway as a programmable spatial experience. Through generative image-making, the project critically examines artistic authorship, creative control, and the construction of identity and emotion within synthetic systems.

2025

Installation Concept

● Inner.Landscape

Responsive installation proposal in which biosensor data becomes an evolving visual environment. The project examines the promise and risk of translating private affective states into publicly legible images.

2025

Speculative  Proposal

● Is This Tomorrow?

The Visual Story of the Arctic in 50 Years. Research proposal juxtaposing field photography and generative projections of Svalbard. The work examines how documentary authority and synthetic plausibility shape the way environmental futures are imagined.

2023 - 2024

Solo Exhibition

● FUTURELAB: Envisioning Abstract Phenomena.

Physical exhibition showcasing Artic speculative futures. Featured by Dezeen.

Photographs made in Norwegian Arctic territories were transformed into speculative environmental futures under accelerated thaw, submersion and fire, then returned to bodily scale through moving image, sound, projection and material surfaces.

2024

Group Exhibition

● Recognising - Artistic collaboration Oslo Runway.

Realised moving-image work combining photography, generative transformation and photographic textures. Produced with visual and textile artist Lieu Le for the live performance Dancing in Tune with Oneself and Others, Oslo Runway, August 2024. The work expanded speculative visual environments through bodily movement and performance.

2024

Speculative Design Research

● Atmospheres in Translation

Developed from photographic observations made in Tokyo, this project translates immersive spatial experiences into AI-generated wearable and interior concepts. Drawing from light, color, materiality, and atmosphere, the work explores how photography can become the basis for speculative design across fashion, objects, and space.

2023

Group Exhibition

● In the State of Water

Field-based photographic series developed through journeys to Svalbard, Iceland and Lofoten. The work follows water across ice, geothermal terrain, sediment, atmosphere and coastline, observing it as a changing material condition that reorganises surfaces and ways of perceiving space. Presented in a KHiO group exhibition, Oslo.

2023

Speculative Photographic Series

● Earth as Elsewhere

Exploration of hybrid image-making, combining original photography from Iceland with AI-generated fashion and fictional characters. By introducing synthetic elements into existing landscapes, the project transforms familiar environments into seemingly alien worlds, challenging the boundaries between photographic reality and speculative fiction.

2023

Immersive Installation Proposal

● Visual Encounters

A site-specific installation proposal conceived for MUNCH in Oslo, exploring how photography can transcend the image to become a physical and sensory experience. Combining landscape photography, projections, sound, and sculpted terrain, the project investigates how immersive environments reshape our perception of nature and our relationship with landscape.
